ahhhh long weekend. We are best friends I love a 3 day weekend! Last night we hosted cooking club at our house and cooked the food of Hawaii!! I will share that menu with links and recipes at some point, but the food was amazing!! It’s so fun to try new things! I normally cook for the week on Sundays but since we’ll be home tomorrow, I plan to shop today and cook tomorrow. We’re having company this weekend, so my cooking efforts will be short.
Sunday: Spaghetti and meatballs, salad, garlic toast
Monday: Melt-in-your-mouth Chuck Roast, egg noodles, green beans
Tuesday: Honey Cashew Chicken with Rice, egg rolls
Wednesday: Stuffed Bell Peppers, mashed potatoes, salad
Thursday: Leftover cleanup
Friday: dinner out with our house guests
Have a great week!
I have no idea if anybody ever reads my posts, but here I am! Listing my menus for the week helps me keep myself organized. Planning ahead is the way to go! I also cook most of the food for the week on Sundays which is a lot of work on the front but makes for an easy dinner time. Here’s what’s on tap for this week….
Sunday: Balsamic & Rosemary Pork Roast, mashed sweet potatoes, glazed carrots
Monday: Turkey Chili, cornbread
Tuesday: Herbed Chicken and Dumplings
Wednesday: Ravioli, salad, garlic bread
Thursday: Pot stickers, Steamed Asian blend (we have a GIANT bag from Costco that we need to finish up), jasmine rice
Friday: Dinner out!
What’s cooking in your house?
Last week went by so fast and here we are back again. Last week I shopped on Saturday night and cooked on Sunday for the week. It worked really well, so I think I’ll do that again this week! Here is my plan…

Monday: Pork Chops Oreganata, Greek Quinoa Salad
Tuesday: Turkey Sloppy Joes, steak fries, something green
Wednesday: The freezer cleanout continues LOL Not sure if it will be chicken tenders or pot stickers
Thursday: pizzas (again!), salad
Friday: Dinner OUT!!
Time to think about food for the week. My brain is blank, so I have been perusing Pinterest looking for some inspiration! Here’s what I’ve got so far… what’s cooking at your house?
Sunday: Thai turkey meatballs in curry, rice, naan
Monday: Marinated and Grilled London Broil (Emeril recipe), Buffalo Roasted Cauliflower, salads
Tuesday: Cleaning out the freezer – orange chicken and rice
Wednesday: Chicken Ramen bowl (ala Wagamama style), spring rolls
Thursday: Homemade pizzas
Friday: Turkey taco salads

Sunday: Pork chops, egg noodles, peas (yes, this has been on the menu for several weeks – FINALLY am making it!!!)
Monday: pizza, salads
Tuesday: kielbasa, dirty rice, steamed broccoli
